BME will likely drill three to six of the proposed holes between the summer and fall of 2011. <br />Subsequent holes may be drilled during the summer /fall of 2012 and drilling could potentially <br />extend into 2013, during the term of the license. Drilling operations may be conducted during <br />day shift only or around - the -clock in two 24 -hour shifts. It is estimated that each exploration <br />hole will likely take from 2 to 4 days to complete depending upon the drilled depth and work <br />schedule. <br />11.0 INCORPORATED STIPULATIONS FOR DRILLING ADAPTED FROM EXPLORATION <br />LICENSES COC- 62949, COC67737 AND COC- 72922. <br />The proposed stipulations for drilling under the proposed Exploration License are listed below. <br />(a) Prior to any surface disturbing activities, the licensee shall conduct a cultural resources <br />survey of all previously unsurveyed areas in accordance with the exploration license. If <br />cultural resources are discovered during exploration operations, the licensee shall <br />immediately notify the White River Field Office Manager. (Note: all areas proposed for <br />disturbance by this license have been previously surveyed.) <br />(b) Cheatgrass and weeds will be controlled on disturbed areas. <br />(e) All drill holes shall be plugged with cement from at least 50 feet below to 50 feet above <br />all significant aquifers and coal beds of mineable thickness, and a cement surface plug <br />shall be set. Item A illustrates the minimum requirements for plugging drill holes. All drill <br />holes shall be plugged as contemporaneously as possible with their drilling. <br />(f) All drill hole cementing shall be done with a recognized oil field cement pre -mixed at the <br />surface with water and any additives considered necessary for encountered drill hole <br />conditions. For all drill hole plugging operations, the licensee shall submit to the White <br />River Field Office Manager completed Sundry Notices together with copies of all cement <br />invoices in addition to any required reports. <br />(g) One copy of drill hole data and related reports must be submitted to the White River <br />Field Office Manager within 30 days after each calendar year. The requirements for <br />submission of drilling and abandonment information are given to the licensee as Item B. <br />The licensee's location map must show access trail locations and exact hole locations <br />appropriately identified by number or letter. Submitted data must be tied to the hole <br />number or letter designations. <br />12 <br />
