Erickson <br />Response to September 28, 2011 Cazier Memorandum <br />October 11, 2011 <br />Page 2 <br />Wildcat will also modify the bullet it added at Page 4 of Attachment D -2 in it <br />Response to Adequacy Issue No. 2, August 19, 2011 Cazier Memorandum, as follows: <br />• Submit revised design plans for portal stabilization, showing the location of <br />the point of contact of the unconsolidated material and bedrock, and <br />including repair drawings and specifications, as necessary, through the <br />Technical Revision or Amendment process; <br />Adequacy Issue No. 2. <br />The applicant has committed to resolving this adequacy issue. However, they have not <br />committed to addressing this adequacy issue in a TR or AM. Please provide a written <br />commitment to resolve this adequacy issue via the TR or AM process. The revised text <br />and five bulleted responses to this adequacy issue presented in the subject response letter <br />shall be included in the revised Geotechnical Stability Exhibit. <br />Response to Adequacy Issue No. 2. <br />Wildcat committed in the fourth and fifth bullets to its Response to Adequacy <br />Issue No. 2, August 19, 2011 Cazier Memorandum, to address this adequacy issue in a <br />Technical Revision or Amendment. See Response to Adequacy Issue No. 2, August 19, <br />2011 Cazier Memorandum. <br />Wildcat will also add the text beginning with the second full paragraph of Page 4 <br />of Attachment D -2 through the end of the "Calculations" section at Page 5 of <br />Attachment D -2, as modified by its Response to Adequacy Issue No. 2, August 19, 2011 <br />Cazier Memorandum, into the text at Page 3 of Exhibit 6.5, after the second full <br />paragraph in the, "May Day No. 1 Portal collapse and head scarp stabilization" section. <br />Immediately following this addition, Wildcat will add a sentence stating: "Wildcat <br />incorporates by reference herein the remainder of Attachment D -2." <br />Adequacy Issue No. 3. <br />The response to this issue is considered adequate. <br />Response to Adequacy Issue No. 3. <br />No response to Adequacy Issue No. 3 is required. <br />Adequacy Issue No. 4. <br />This response is inadequate.
