There are only three <br />consumptive uses at the Mine; dust suppression, evaporation from the ponds, and a small <br />amount of domestic, commercial and irrigation use from the facility well(s). <br />Dust suppression is the highest consumptive use at the Mine. Mine personnel have forecasted <br />that the dust suppression uses at NHN will be approximately the same as the current NH2 mine. <br />The Mine has kept records of that use since 1998, so an average value was obtained for the 11- <br />year period 1998 to 2008. The year of 2005 was the maximum year in that period. <br />The NHN Mine will have three different ponds that will have evaporative depletions. Their total <br />evaporation from their maximum surface areas are shown below. <br />Lastly, the mine will have one or more facility wells for their domestic, commercial and <br />irrigation uses the facilities. The irrigation uses are only for a small amount of landscaped area <br />adjacent to the facilities. These uses also include washing of vehicles at the facilities. <br />
