C- 2010 -088 Fruita Loadout
4 t '' Preliminary Adequacy Review (MLT)
24- Aug -2011
CAM responded that no geotechnical investigation has yet been conducted, but that
necessary geotechnical work will be performed prior to construction. The Division
requested that any subsequent modifications be incorporated into the PAP.
With the August 2011 response letter, CAM noted the Division's request. Response
accepted.
5le. Item resolved with CAM's July 2011 response.
51f. Item resolved with CAM's July 2011 response.
Rail Loop
51g. Item resolved with CAM's July 2011 response.
51h. Item resolved with CAM's July 2011 response.
Access Road
5li. No profile or typical section for the Access Road are shown on Map 15. Please add these
details to Map 15.
Typical section and profile were added to Map 15, as requested, with the July 2011
response. Text was added to page 2.05 -14 to address surfacing of the access road, but this
text (and the thickness shown on Map 15) were in conflict with text already provided on
page 2.05 -15. That paragraph stated that 6 to 12 inches of gravel will be used. Given the
poor quality of native soils at the site, a 6- to 12 -inch thickness is likely to be necessary for
surfacing the Access Road. Please revise Map 15 accordingly and delete the contradictory
information from page 2.05 -14.
Map 15 has been revised as requested. Item resolved.
51j. Item resolved with CAM's July 2011 response.
Light Use Road ( #1)
51k. Item resolved with CAM's July 2011 response.
511. Item resolved with CAM's July 2011 response.
51m.
