Notice to Parties and Interested Persons to CN -01
Dear Party and /or Interested Person:
The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (Division or Office) has received a request for
extension of the review period for CN -01 from Wildcat. Mining Corporation (Applicant). The
Division has approved the requested extension. Therefore, the Formal Board Hearing, Pre -
hearing Conference and the Division's recommendation date for CN -01 have been rescheduled.
The Pre - hearing Conference, previously scheduled for September 30, 2011, has been
tentatively rescheduled to late October. The Pre - hearing Conference will occur on either
October 25, 26, 27 or 28, 2011. Notice of the specific date, time and location of the
rescheduled Pre - hearing Conference will be forwarded to all parties and interested persons as
soon as such can be determined. The Pre - hearing Conference will be held to describe the
Division's review process, to explain the rights and responsibilities of parties, to discuss and
resolve issues to the extent possible, to describe the Board Hearing processes, to propose a list
of issues under the Board's jurisdiction, to simplify that list, and to identify parties.

Conference and Recommendation for the Amended Application to
Convert a 110(2) Permit to a 112d -1 Operation (CN -01), -
Wildcat Mining Corporation, May Day Idaho Mine Complex, Permit No. M- 1981 -185.
The Formal Board Hearing, previously scheduled for October 12 –13, 2011, has been
rescheduled to the November 9 - 10, 2011, meeting of the Mined Land Reclamation Board
(Board). The November 9 - 10, 2011, Formal Board Hearing will occur at 1313 Sherman Street,
Room 318, Denver, Colorado, beginning at 9:00 a.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter can be
considered. During the hearing the Board will consider the application with objections and may
decide to approve, approve with conditions or deny the application for CN -01.
After the conference the Pre - hearing Officer shall prepare a proposed Pre - hearing Order. The
proposed Pre - hearing Order will be made available to all parties prior to the Formal Board
Hearing. The proposed Pre - hearing Order will contain a list of the parties, provide a
recommended list of issues to be considered by the Board, and outline a schedule for the
hearing with time allotments set for presentations by each party and the Office. The conditions
of the Pre - hearing Order are not final until adopted or approved by the Board at the Formal
Board Hearing. Any party has the right to file a motion to the Board to review any decision of
