2.0 Safety, Health & Environment
Linc Energy places the highest value in safe, efficient and cost - effective exploration programs
that minimize environmental impact. The safety of all exploration personnel and protection of
the environment is paramount. Linc Energy has a corporate Workplace Health and Safety
Management Plan that guides all aspects of work to ensure that our personnel are able to
achieve the standards of health and safety performance to which it aspires. The corporate
health and safety policy is described below by Peter Bond, Linc Energy's Chief Executive
Officer:
Linc Energy Operations, Inc. recognizes our employees and contractors
are our most valued resource and as such, their health and safety is our
highest priority. We understand that excellent health and safety performance
is an integral part of our vision to be a world class energy company.
We are committed to having a workplace with zero injuries and work
related illness and we believe this is a realistic objective. We will seek to
continually improve our performance until this objective has been achieved.
We will also ensure that our work practices and procedures reflect this
commitment and ensure that they also meet our regulatory obligations.
We will provide all necessary training, resources and otherwise engage our
people because we understand that the commitment and involvement of all
employees, contractors and suppliers is essential for our success.
Linc Energy realizes that compromising set standards will not only jeopardize the goals and
objective of the company, but those of shareholders and communities where we operate.
Therefore, Linc Energy commits itself to assisting employees in fulfilling the responsibilities that
are all shared with regard to health, safety and the environment. A supplemental safety
guideline tailored for the Little Snake River Concession is included in Appendix A.
Linc Energy strives to minimize environmental impact during exploration activities and is
adamant about adhering strictly to permit requirements and stipulations. The exploration staff
will strive in minimizing surface disturbance and will properly backfill holes and reclaim all
exploration sites per the requirements of the drilling permit.
unc
EAERGY
4
