MILL SITE AREA (cont.) <br />• adequate seeding and revegetation as recommended by the U.S.D.A. Soil <br />Conservation Service. <br />• Grade and contour the mill tailings disposal area to establish a gentle drainage <br />grade to the east, south and west. No final slopes will be steeper than one vertical <br />to f ur f et horizontal approximate original contour, except the TSF outslope <br />which will be reclaimed to a 2.5h: l v slope. <br />• Construct drainage ditches to divert any possible runoff around the tailings <br />disposal area. <br />• Cover and grade the mill tailings disposal area and other remaining areas of <br />disturbance with at least 12" of topsoil suitable for adequate seeding and re- <br />vegetation as recommended by the U.S.D.A. Soil Conservation Service. A copy <br />of the information provided by the Soil Conservation Service is a part of this <br />permit application. <br />Final grading is shown on Exhibit E — Map, MLR3. <br />Leadville Mining and Milling Corp has given permission to the Soil Conservation <br />Service (copy attached) to construct test planting plots at both the mine site and mill site areas in <br />order that suitable re- vegetation species of plants and grasses can be determined well in advance <br />of final reclamation needs. This will certainly help us in our final reclamation work. <br />The mill site area is zoned Industrial Mining It is our intent to direct our reclamation efforts <br />toward final land use devoted to wildlife habitat. <br />M1990 -057 September 27, 2011 <br />
