Adequacy Issue No. 30.
In the Access Easement Closure section the Applicant states the road fill including the
culvert will be removed. Please confirm all fill material used to construct the culvert fill
and out slope of the access road will be removed as part of final reclamation.
Response to Adequacy Issue No. 30.
Wildcat will clarify in the Access Easement Closure section at page 5 of the
Reclamation Plan that: "In addition, the road fill, including the culvert and fill material
used to construct the culvert fill and out slope of the access road, will be removed."
Adequacy Issue No. 31.
In the Access Easement Closure section the Applicant states the excess road fill will be
used to grade the road contours into the existing topography. Please provide a work plan
for the fill removal, placement, compaction and final grading for the road reclamation
and closure.
Response to Adequacy Issue No. 31.
Upon completion of the engineering and geologic evaluations set forth in the Pre -
Construction Activities section of Wildcat's New Access Road Construction Work Plan
(Attachment D -1), Wildcat will submit a work plan for the fill removal, placement,
compaction and final grading for the road reclamation and closure. Wildcat will submit
this work plan for DRMS review and approval through the Technical Revision or
Amendment process.
6.5 Geotechnical Stability Exhibit
Adequacy Issue No. 32.
The Applicant submitted the Geotechnical Reconnaissance report prepared by R
Squared, Inc. dated May 29, 2010 (Attachment 6.5.3) as the Geotechnical Stability
Exhibit. The report does not comply with the requirements of Rule 6.5. Please submit
engineering stability analyses for the access road slopes during operation and final
reclamation. The analyses must include models for the fill and cut slopes based on the
new geotechnical investigation and the proposed final reclamation slopes.
