The Installer shall be responsible for patching all areas cut for test samples in <br />accordance with the Specifications and Manufacturer's requirements and <br />performing non - destructive testing (i.e., vacuum box) of the seams. The CQA <br />Monitor shall record test locations on the geosynthetic defect log forms. <br />Additional testing information will be recorded on the geosynthetic seam <br />destructive sample log form. The CQA Monitor shall track failing tests as <br />described in the Specifications. <br />Repairs - The CQA Monitor shall observe and document that all repair materials, <br />techniques, and procedures used for repairs are approved in advance and meet <br />the requirements of the project Specifications. The CQA Monitor shall verify that <br />all defects and repairs are marked, recorded, repaired, tested, and wrinkles are <br />addressed, prior to being covered by other materials; and that repairs are <br />performed as specified, including proper patch size or dimension. The CQA <br />Monitor shall record defects and repairs on the defect and repair log forms. <br />3.3 SUBBASE <br />A. Contractor, on a daily basis, shall certify in writing that the surface on <br />which the geosynthetic will be installed is acceptable. It will be the <br />Contractor 's responsibility to maintain, protect, and if required return, the <br />subgrade in the condition that was originally accepted, prior to <br />geosynthetic deployment until accepted by Rio Grande Silver, under <br />criteria identified in Section 02320 as per the compacted soil liner <br />Specifications. <br />3.4 ACCEPTANCE <br />A. Contractor shall retain all ownership and responsibility for thegeosynthetic <br />until final acceptance. The geosynthetic shall be accepted by Rio Grande <br />Silver when all of the following conditions are met: <br />1. Installation is finished; <br />2. Verification of the adequacy of all seams and repairs, including <br />associated testing, is complete; <br />3. Certification, including QC documentation is provided by <br />Contractor to Project Manager; <br />4. Recommended acceptance by Project Manager and Design <br />Engineer; and <br />5.
