D. HDPE pipe joints shall conform to Manufacturer's recommendations. <br />3.3 WATER TRUCK DELIVERY PIPES <br />A. Install all pipe, valves and fittings in accordance with Manufacturer's <br />recommendations. HDPE pipe to be butt -fused according to ASTM <br />Specifications and Manufacturer's requirements. <br />B. Verify all lines, levels, and measurements prior to installation of pipes to <br />ensure required slope is achieved. <br />C. Exercise care so as not to contaminate drain pipes during installation. <br />D. Valves to be 6 -inch stainless steel valve as approved by the Rio Grande <br />Silver Project Manager. <br />PART 4 MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT <br />4.1 MEASUREMENT <br />A. All pipe will be measured for payment based on the amount of linear feet <br />installed. <br />B. Stainless steel valves and fittings shall be measured for payment for each <br />valve and fitting installed. <br />4.2 PAYMENT <br />A.
