August 30, 2011 <br />These parcels do not have a large number of shrubs outside of the shrub clump. <br />Weeds were observed throughout the parcels, including many areas of white top. Small amounts of other weeds <br />were seen including thistle and hounds tongue. Cheatgrass was also observed in these parcels. <br />In general, erosion is not a problem in these parcels, but a rill approximately one foot deep was observed near the <br />south end. Contour ditches are in good shape. <br />Topsoil thickness had been previously measured by DRMS, and is in compliance with the permit (minimum of 10 <br />inches required). <br />A well was observed in the upper section of F- AB -06. <br />Parcel Z -AB -05 <br />In the eastern portion of the parcel there is a small (approximately 10 feet by 20 feet) bare area where an anchor <br />was temporarily installed for a power line while the line was lowered to move a dragline. <br />There are many large shrubs in the eastern portion of the parcel, and small shrubs were observed in the western <br />portion. <br />Some cheat grass was observed in the western portion. <br />No erosion was observed in either portion of the parcel. <br />C -1981- 010 /Trapper Mine RDZ <br />Topsoil thickness had been previously measured by DRMS, and is in compliance with the permit. <br />Parcel Z -AB -06 <br />Thistle was observed throughout the parcel. <br />No erosion was observed. <br />Topsoil thickness was measured by DRMS and found to be 11 inches, which is in compliance with the permit. <br />Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 2 <br />Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 1 <br />Page 3 of 7 <br />
