Peabod
Best regards,
li 1111 ENERGY
Peabody Sage Creek Mining, LLC
Peabody Sage CreekMine
PO Box 250
36600 Routt County Road 27
Hayden, CO. 81639
accommodate needed fiber -optic lines. PSMC proposes to replace the poles and line moving
them slightly east and away from their current location along Little Grassy Creek. The line
would instead run along the haul road (Map 2.05.3 MIA and B Mine Facilities Maps — South
End and North End). New fiber -optic lines would also be installed on these poles along the new
route. The existing poles would be removed. In addition, a new line will be installed to convey
69 kV from the YVEA substation to the new portal substation.
Finally, PSCM proposes to transfer the public copy of the Mining Permit from the Routt County
Assessor's Office to the Hayden Public Library. There is little space to accommodate the permit
at the County Office. In addition, the Seneca II Permit resides at the Hayden Public Library. It
will be more efficient for both the public and mine staff to access the permit from the new
location.
We would appreciate your consideration and cooperation in facilitating timely review and
approval of this submittal.
