Coal was being loaded onto train cars at the time of the <br />inspection. No problems were noted with the exception of the following: <br />- The stockpiled material located west of the railway and north of the loadout will need to be removed to ensure <br />compliance with the vegetative filter required for the protection of Foidel Creek. <br />OTHER (SPECIFY): <br />This was a partial coal inspection of the Foidel Creek Mine conducted by Jason Musick of DRMS. Jerry Nettleton <br />of Twentymile Coal Company accompanied the inspection. The weather was clear at the onset of the inspection, <br />with rain in the afternoon. The ground was wet. This inspection focused on Topsoil compliance with Rules 4.06, <br />4.06.2; 4.06.4(4); 4.06.3; 4.06.4 <br />REVEGETATION — Rule 4.15Vegetative Cover; Timing: <br />The reclaimed and reseeded areas of the Bleeder Shaft and the 18RT Shaft displayed heavy stands of Scotch thistle <br />and Houndstounge. These areas should be managed to reduce weed patches. <br />TOPSOIL — Rule 4.06Removal 4.06.2; Substitute Materials 4.06.4(4); Storage and Protection 4.06.3; <br />Redistribution 4.06.4: <br />All topsoil stockpile locations were inspected ion the locations delineated on approved Map 29 Sheet 1 and 2 of <br />the PAP revised 4/20/10. All topsoil stockpiles were located in the approved locations with stable slopes, good <br />vegetative cover to prevent erosion and the appropriate signage in place and no problems noted, with the exception <br />of the following: <br />- The topsoil stockpile located at the entrance of the reclaimed 18RT shaft was not identified on Map 29.
