5.1.3 No new seepage, saturated areas, or sand bolls have developed or have <br />materially changed from historic conditions or locations reflected on Figure 8. and <br />existing seeps are not cloudy or developing piles of fines. <br />5.1.4 No riprap has been displaced, washed out or removed. <br />5.1.5 No gees or bushes are growing on or adjacent to the levee. <br />5.1.6 Access roads to and on the levee are being properly maintained. <br />5.1.7 Fences and gates are in good condition if applicable). <br />5.1.8 CrowTi of the levee is shaped so as to drain readily and that any roadway <br />thereon is well shaped and maintained. <br />5.1.9 There is no unauthorized vehicular traffic on the levee. <br />5.1.10 Encroachments are not being made on the levee right-of-way which might <br />endanger the structure or hinder its proper and efficient functioning during times of <br />emergency. <br />5.1.11 The Tantra Lateral Ditch closure device is in good condition and operafive. <br />The Flood Superintendent shall consult with qualified professional consulting <br />engineers to ascertain appropriate corrective or maintenance measures with <br />respect to discovery of any conditions described in sections 5.1.1, 5.1.2, or 5.1.3. <br />If required by the consulting engmeers, mediate steps will be taken to correct <br />conditions disclosed by such inspections. Regular maintenance repair measures <br />shall be accomplished during the appropriate season as scheduled by the Flood <br />Superintendent. <br />5.2 Project Control Harper <br />Project Control was placed along the levee system at station 105+00 (see Figure 1 ) to <br />facilitate cheeping of levee elevations and alignment. <br />3 Future Modifications to Levee <br />In the event the base flood elevation is increased in the area of flae Project, the University of <br />Colorado sbdl promptly add height to the levee to establish and maintain a eeboard which <br />meets applicable regulatory criteria for freeboard above the base flood elevation and shall <br />take such other actions, including the placement of additional erosion protection, With <br />respect to the levee as may be appropriate to maintain the integrity of the levee.
