Change in Discharge <br />PART II <br />Page 14 of 26 <br />Permit No.: C00036251 <br />The permittee shall notify the Division, in writing, of any planned physical alterations or additions to <br />the permitted facility. Notice is required only when: <br />a. The alteration or addition could significantly change the nature or increase the quantity of <br />pollutants discharged, or; <br />b. The alteration or addition results in a significant change in the permittee's sludge use or disposal <br />practices, and such alteration, addition, or change may justify the application of permit conditions <br />that are different from or absent in the existing permit, including notification of additional use or <br />disposal sites not reported pursuant to an approved land application plan. <br />The permittee shall give advance notice to the Division of any planned changes in the permitted <br />facility or activity which may result in noncompliance with permit requirements. <br />Whenever notification of any planned physical alterations or additions to the permitted facility is <br />required pursuant to this section, the permittee shall furnish the Division such plans and <br />specifications which the Division deems reasonably necessary to evaluate the effect on the discharge, <br />the stream, or ground water. If the Division finds that such new or altered discharge might be <br />inconsistent with the conditions of the permit, the Division shall require a new or revised permit <br />application and shall follow the procedures specified in Sections 61.5 through 61.6, and 61.15 of the <br />Colorado Discharge Permit System Regulations. <br />
