CQA ACTIVITIES: <br />GENERAL PROJECT ITEMS <br />Summary of Concerns: <br />No concerns <br />ame <br />D) Geomembrane Acceptance <br />1) VLF <br />Primary 80mil geomembrane (P481 -P483, P487- P512, P545 -P551, P561 -562 & P568 -P586) <br />shown on Figure 4 was inspected by AMEC and Lonestar representatives and found to be <br />installed within project specifications and acceptable for continued construction activities. <br />SUMMARY: <br />The CQA activities performed consisted of observing, documenting and recording the construction <br />activities of the contractor. <br />AMEC observed slope contouring and subgrade compaction within the Phase 5 VLF. <br />AMEC inspected and approved subgrade prior to SLF placement within the Phase 5 VLF. <br />AMEC observed and assisted in the placement of SLF material within the Phase 5 VLF. <br />AMEC inspected and approved subgrade prior to geomembrane deployment within the Phase 5 VLF. <br />AMEC observed, logged data, and assisted in the installation of geomembrane within the Phase 5 VLF. <br />AMEC observed, obtained samples, and assisted in the process of DCF material at the DCF Process area. <br />AMEC observed the excavation of anchor trenches within the Phase 5 VLF. <br />AMEC observed existing geomembrane exposure within the Phase 5 VLF. <br />AMEC observed the installation of the high volume solution collection system within the Phase 5 VLF. <br />AMEC observed the DCF placement within the Phase 5 VLF. <br />AMEC inspected and approved 80mil primary geomembrane within the Phase 5 VLF. <br />AMEC continued interim certification report development. <br />Testing Summary <br />Laboratory testing continued (Particle Size Distribution, Atterberg Limits, Moisture - Density Relations, <br />Specific Gravity, Permeability, and Point Load testing) for sampled materials. <br />VLF Weekly Report WE 07.30.2011 <br />
