Box 21588 <br />Denver, Colorado 80221 -0588 <br />Re: PUEBLO COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Administrative Report for Special Use Permit No. 2001 -001 Allowing a Sand and <br />Gravel Extraction and Processing Operation on 45.72± Acres in an A -1 Zone <br />District <br />Dear Mr. Reckentine: <br />RECEIVED <br />APR 2 5 2003 <br />Division of Minerals and Geology <br />Please be advised the Pueblo County Planning Commission, at its public meeting held <br />on April 22, 2003, voted to accept staff's Administrative Report, thereby allowing <br />continuance of the permitted use with the existing conditions and notation of approval as <br />follows, noting Condition No. 7 has been revised: <br />1. The special use permit shall be approved for excavation, dry processing, and <br />stockpiling only, within Lot 3 of Section 19, Township 21 South, Range 63 West. <br />Processing shall be restricted to materials excavated from the site, and shall not <br />include materials from other sites. There shall be no blasting permitted in <br />association with the mineral extraction activities. <br />2. Hours of operation for the permitted use shall be limited to Monday through <br />Saturday, and sunrise to sunset. Should the applicant wish to extend the hours or <br />days of operation, the applicant must apply for and obtain an amendment to this <br />special use permit, through the public hearing process. <br />3. The applicant's haul trucks shall not operate on County Lane 36 from 7:30 a.m. to <br />8:30 a.m., and from 2:45 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. on days in which school is in session. <br />4.
