EXHIBIT H - Wildlife Information
6.4.8 Yuma County has contacted the District Wildlife Manager, Mr. Tom Seamans,
regarding the location and size of our proposed pit and any impact to wildlife. We
received a response from the area Wildlife Manager, Mr. Cory Chick. He indicates what
species may be present and indicates that no endangered or threatened species are
present.
Our visits to the site indicate that there will be very little, if any, impact to wildlife.
Other active pits in the area show footprints of animals indicted by Mr. Chick. Nests of
some bird species are often evident. Since our operation is intermittent, the impact to
wildlife should be limited. We will not be permanently changing the cover or food
availability. Our noise level impact would be comparable to regular farming practices
that already occur on many acres in the area.
