EXHIBIT G - Water Information
6.4.7
This operation will not affect any water rights or ground water. The water table is
approximately 100 feet deep. Our excavation will not go below the dry drainage channel.
In the event that ground water is encountered, it will be covered over with a three -foot
layer of overburden.
The closest lowing water is the South Fork of the Republican River. It is 1 '/Z miles to the
southeast. Our storm water plan will ensure that no silt or water will reach the river
channel.
A stock well lies to the southeast, outside of our permitted area. This well is considerably
deeper than the proposed mining plan. We will have no impact on this well.
No de- watering will be required at this site. Water, as needed for dust control, will be
purchased from local commercial well owners.
Top soil and overburden will be used to create berms to protect active mining area.
Should a problem be anticipated, silt fence or wattles will be used to control any run -off
leaving our permit area.
Yuma County has applied for a storm water permit from the Water Quality Control
Division of the Colorado Department of Health and Environment. A storm water plan is
on file at our main office in Wray.
/5—
