The proposed chemicals
and application rates are presented below. On -site management of the chemicals
is presented in the EPP. (Exhibit U).
• Water and Chemical Recovery: A description of project water requirements and
sources is provided in Exhibit G. Preliminary design provides for at least 75%
water recovery from the tailings prior to disposal. The mill design will be verified
during the optimization phase. Additionally, the effectiveness of water recycling
and water quality will be evaluated with respect to recycling optimization and
potential disposal requirements, as discussed in the EPP. (Exhibit U).
• Tailings Disposal: Preliminary evaluation of the mine rock (Exhibit U) indicates
that it is suitable for disposal within the May Day No. 1 stope of the underground
workings. Further testing of the tailings will be performed as detailed in the EPP.
(Exhibit U). Up to 5,000 tons of tailings will be produced during this phase and
Wildcat Mining Corporation
May Day Idaho Mine Complex — 112d Permit Application
Revised August, 2011
Exhibit D — Rule 6.4.4
