Although the resumption of mining operations is not expected to result in any
significant change in conditions upgradient of this location, especially during the baseline data
collection period, an upward trend in observed concentrations over the baseline period may
indicate a reason to evaluate potential contaminant sources and protection facilities in the lower
end of this Watershed and the appropriateness of this data to represent ambient baseline
conditions.
EPP — Appendix C
Table 4 -2 — EVMW -3 Analytical Parameter List
4.2.3 Tenmile Creek Watershed
The POC for the Tenmile Creek Watershed is GWM -2, a monitoring well located downgradient
of the permitted surface water discharge outfall. Although the CBSG for Domestic Use (Tables
1 and 2) may not be directly applicable to the groundwater in the Tenmile Creek Watershed,
they have been used as the basis for selecting numeric limits protective of groundwater.
Table 4 -3 lists the parameters to be measured and the applicable NPL. The methodology for
determining whether an analytical result exceeds the NPLs is discussed in Section 5.
Table 4 -3 — GWM -2 Numeric Protection Limits
August, 2011 15
