July 25,2011 C-1981-033/13ear Mine JJD
The backfilled access road on the east half of the hillside was well vegetated and stable. The access road
near the west side backfilled portal area had a varying cover of vegetation, from moderate to poor. The backfilled
former fan site also had a good vegetative cover and was stable as well. The west side backfilled portal area
continues to show instability.
REVEGETATION—Rule 4.15❑❑Vegetative Cover;Timing:
The former location of the mine office building on the flat facilities area needs revegetation. However, both
outside edges of the abutment on the east side of the bridge are eroding and need to be fixed. In addition, part of a
board on the east end of the bridge has rotted through.
SIGNS AND MARKERS—Rule 4.02:
The mine identification sign was up at the entrance at the top of the hill. The required mine information
was on the sign. The"records location" sign was also up at the top of the hill.
