The Technical Revision is requested to allow Lake County to
continue to collect and recycle reclaimed asphalt at our gravel pit. At this time Lake County
collects, stores, processes and reuses the recycled asphalt. Stored unprocessed asphalt is
currently estimated at 2500 cyds. Lake County will not collect and store more than 3000 cyds at
any one time. Lake County continues to reduce the size of the stores asphalt pile as weather,
time and temperature allow for processing.
Also, please find enclosed a picture of the location of the fuel tank. Note that the fuel tank has
been removed from the gravel pit.
Thank you for your help in the above matters. If you should have any additional questions or
comments, please do not hesitate to contact me directly at the above address and phone
number.
Sincerely,
Michael Irwin
Operator/Technician
Lake County Public Works
a LAKE COUNTY
Public Works
PO Box 952
1200 Hazel Street
Leadville, CO 80461
Phone: 719 -486 -0259
Fax: 719- 486 -8479
JUL 29 Z011
Division of Reclamation
Mining and Safety
vi - 7 7— L( 50
i"Q —Ok
RECEIVED
- UL 2 5 2011
GRAND JUNCTION FIELD OFFICE
DIVISION OF
I b RECLAMATION MINING & SAFETY
