July 19,2011 C-1981-010/Trapper Mine RDZ <br /> SUPPORT FACILITIES -Rule 4.04: <br /> The support facilities inspected were: the East Panel Ready Line,the water tanks(potable and recycle), facilities <br /> along the B/C road, and the shop/office area. Some trash needs to be picked up in the vicinity of the shop area, <br /> including the ditch along the D Pit Road. <br /> SIGNS AND MARKERS—Rule 4.02: <br /> The mine ID and blasting signs at the main mine entrance and at the entrance near Coyote Pond were found to be <br /> in compliance. <br /> Perimeter markers were observed near the northeast corner of the site. However,not all markers were visible,and <br /> TMI needs to continue clearing brush from the northeast corner of the boundary to improve marker visibility. <br /> Perimeter markers were also observed near Coyote Pond, in the East Pyeatt drainage,along the west boundary, <br /> and along the entrance road. <br /> TOPSOIL—Rule 4.06: <br /> Topsoil stripping was not occurring at Trapper Mine during the inspection. <br /> The following topsoil piles were inspected: A92-1,A97-2,D93-1, D97-1, E934, E94-1, E94-2, F-2-07,JG-7, and <br /> JG-8. <br /> Several of the piles contained cheat grass(e.g.,D93-1). This will continually be monitored as part of TMI's weed <br /> management plan. Other weeds were observed(e.g.,Russian thistle on F-2-07 and white top on A97-2 and D93- <br /> 1)and shall be monitored and sprayed per the permit. <br /> Markers are missing or need to be repaired at piles A92-1 (north side),D93-1 (north end),D97-1,E93-4, E94-1, <br /> E94-2,F-2-07,JG-7(west side),and JG-8. <br /> Animal burrows,which should be filled,were found on E94-2 and JG-7. <br /> Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 0 <br /> Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 1 <br /> Page 5 of 11 <br />
