Enclosure — 1 <br />(Memo from Brock Bowles to Marcia Talvitie), dated April 5, 2011 to Western Fuels Colorado. <br />1. Exhibit 2009 -1, NH1 2009 Fertilization & Production Rates - The map provided is the <br />2009 map. Please revise the map to reflect 2010 data and resubmit. <br />(Map is updated.) <br />2. Exhibit 2009 -2, NH1 Pre -1993 Disturbance — the map provided is the 2009 map. Please <br />revise the map to reflect 2010 data and resubmit. <br />(Map is updated.) <br />3. Exhibit 2010 -4, 2010 Seeding — Please clarify or correct the discrepancies listed below <br />of this map: <br />a. In the seed mix #3 description, only the broadcast rate was given. Please include <br />the drill rate in the description because 8.2 acres were drilled on the Morgan <br />property. <br />(Changed description to 8.2Ac; Mix 3 was broadcast, winter wheat drilled on <br />the Morgan property.) <br />b. The map indicates that 8.2 acres of the Morgan property were drill seeded. The <br />ARR text states that this area has seed mix #3 applied at a rate of 22.5 PLS /acre, <br />implying the area was broadcast seeded. Please clarify. <br />(The 8.2 acres on the Morgan property was broadcast with the #3 mix; the <br />cover crop was drilled at 35 lbs /acre. Both were planted at the same time.) <br />c. The map indicates that 14.2 acre of Lloyd property was drilled at a rate of 35 <br />lbs /acre while the text of the ARR states that winter wheat was applied at a rate <br />of 70 lbs /acre implying it was broadcast seeded, please clarify. <br />(The two sections are seeded differently due to future use and terrain. The <br />14.2ac section will be part of an irrigated pasture field, the 9.4ac is located on <br />the north slope in a approved dryland section, it was broadcast due to <br />topographic and soil conditions.) <br />d. Seed mix #3 was broadcast on 9.4 acres (Lloyd) at a rate of 225 lbs /ac which <br />equals 211.5 lbs. It was also seeded on 8.2 acres (Morgan) at a rate of 11.25 <br />lbs /acre (half the broadcast rate) equaling 92.25 lbs. The total weight of seed <br />mix #3 used on both properties is 606.75 lbs but the receipt shows that only 250 <br />lbs was ordered. Please clarify. <br />(The receipt was shown as an example; a typical order detailing seed quality <br />and origins. It was never intended to show a yearly purchase record since <br />Western Fuels does not have the proper facilities for long term storage.) <br />4.
