Western Fuels - Colorado
P.O. You will find our response to the items in
the June 28 letter attached.
WFC and GLA believe that this addresses all of the remaining items of concern for
the bond release application SL -12. WFC has demonstrated successful reclamation
of the areas included in the bond release application, above and beyond what is
required by the approved permit. Additionally, several of the items in the
Division's letter are not relevant to the bond release, but rather appear to address
matters that would be more appropriately addressed through a permit revision.
WFC is willing to provide information to the Division to facilitate its approval and
findings, but requests that any further information requests be presented in a face -
to -face meeting so that the parties can address the scope and relevance of the
information requested before WFC spends more resources responding to these
issues.
CC: Greg Lewicki, P.E.
Chris Kamper, Carver Schwarz McNabe & Bailey
Dave Berry, Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety
Marcia Talvitie, Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety
{ 00058185.1 }
Sincerely,
Ross bka, P.E., Chief Engineer
