Erickson, Wally
From:
Sent:
To:
Cc:
Subject:
I would like to confirm the map details, scales and sizes. It is my understanding the following:
• A 200 foot buffer is required to be shown beyond the permit boundary
• A 200 foot buffer on the corrective action and reclamation maps are required beyond the affected area
• A contour interval of 25 feet or less (because of the steep topography) is required for all maps. A contour
interval of 5 feet or Tess maybe desired for the areas within the corrective action boundaries and for the F series
maps (reclamation);
• A new map is required showing the location of all stored chemicals per the EPP section. (locate the facilities on
one map -scale is to be equal to Tess than 600 feet to 1 inch;
• Secondary containment sizes for all stored DMO chemical must be shown on the base maps;
• Secondary containment within buildings must be illustrated within each building including the zircon containers,
the mill, pipe, tank
• Secondary containment should be provided for all drums, tanks etc that are greater than 55 gallons;
• Storage units are to locate where chemicals including hydrocarbons, paints, solvents are to be stored;
Is there anything missing ??
George M.L.
