Development Waste <br /> The operator should ensure that inspection reports for the development waste piles are <br /> properly completed with piles identified accurately along with the appropriate observations. <br /> The Development Waste Pile (DWP) is a reclaimed pile located immediately west of the mine <br /> entrance. The Development Waste Disposal Area (DWDA) is currently operational and located <br /> east of the mine entrance and north of the Purgatoire River(shown below). Shaping of the <br /> outslopes of the DWDA to the approximate final grade was noted. The mine is currently <br /> producing significant quantities of development waste as the workings are established in the <br /> mine. <br /> 4 <br /> Offsite Support Facilities <br /> Both Apache Canyon shaft area were inspected. Cattle are grazing in the canyon and grazing <br /> evidence was noted at both locations. Only the upper shaft is in use for ventilation purposes at <br /> the present time. <br /> 5 <br />
