Tom Bird and Jim Jarvis represented the operator during the inspection. With the <br /> operator's consent, this report was issued from the Denver office of DRMS. <br /> Mining was active in the King II Mine workings in the Southern Ute area north of the state mining and <br /> reclamation permit area. Within the state permit area,mining has advanced as far as the second section <br /> west of the entries leading from the portals. <br /> The ground was dry and the entire site was accessible. Selected photos taken during the inspection are <br /> provided at the end of this report. <br /> AIR RESOURCE PROTECTION—Rule 4.17: <br /> The haul road and surface facilities area at King II appeared to have been sprayed for dust control the <br /> morning of the inspection. There were no fugitive dust problems. <br /> AVAILABILITY OF RECORDS—Rule 5.02.4(1): <br /> The results of the records check are shown on the attached list.
