Amount of water to be changed: Applicants' portion of the Star <br />Enlargement of the East Creek Ditch right has been used to irrigate 40 of <br />the 80 acres historically irrigated with the East Creek Ditch. Applicants <br />will remove 37 of those acres from irrigation, resulting in historic <br />consumptive use credits equal to 0.54 c.f.s. A map depicting the <br />historically irrigated acreage, as well as the acreage to be removed from <br />irrigation is attached as Exhibit 2. A table attached as Exhibit 5 sets out <br />the historic consumptive use associated with Applicants' portion of the <br />East Creek Ditch junior right. <br />C. Detailed description of change: Historic consumptive use credits from the <br />dry up of 37 acres under the Star Enlargement of the East Creek Ditch <br />equates to 0.54 c.f.s., or 14.14 a.f. annually. A table setting out the <br />monthly historic consumptive use figure for the Star Enlargement of the <br />East Creek Ditch right for the entire 80 acres is attached as Exhibit 6, <br />respectively. The average monthly historic consumptive use of the Star <br />Enlargement of the East Creek Ditch associated with the 37 acres to be <br />removed from irrigation is as follows: <br />i) Applicants request to change 0.54 c.f.s. (14.14 a.f. annually) under <br />the East Creek Ditch from irrigation to augmentation to support the <br />plan for augmentation requested in paragraph 6, below. The <br />remaining three acres of historically irrigated land owned by co- <br />applicant McCurter will continue to be irrigated. <br />ii) To the extent that the 0.54 c.f.s. changed right is not required to <br />support the augmentation plan requested in this case, Applicant <br />will deliver it to the McCurter Lake Pit Well for groundwater <br />recharge. <br />D. Name and address of owner of land upon which changed water right is <br />located or upon which the water will be used: The historic place of use for <br />the portion of the Star Enlargement of the East Creek Ditch changed under <br />this claim is located on land owned by co- applicant McCurter. The <br />changed rights will be use to offset out -of- priority depletions which will <br />occur on land owned by co- applicant McCurter and by United Companies <br />of Mesa County, 2273 River Road, Grand Junction, CO 81505. <br />5.
