No representative from CB Minerals accompanied me on the
inspection. The mine is reclaimed and has been granted a full Phase II Bond Release. Remaining reclamation
includes the removal of the remaining sediment pond and ditches. The weather was warm and sunny and the
ground was dry.
AVAILABILITY OF RECORDS—Rule 5.02.4(1):
-All of the necessary records were available at the Garfield County Court House in Glenwood Springs. This sediment pond is permitted to be
removed for final reclamation. The Coal Ridge Mine has been granted a full Phase II Bond Release and the
sediment pond could probably be removed at this point.
-The remaining ditches route water into the sediment pond. All of these ditches were dry at the time of the
inspection.
