Compliance With Mine Plan NA - Support Facilities Not On-site <br /> NA -Other NA - Special Categories Of Mining <br /> NA -Processing Waste Y -Topsoil <br /> COMMENTS <br /> This was a complete inspection of the Seneca II-W Mine conducted by Susan Burgmaier and Sandy Brown of <br /> DRMS. No representatives of Seneca Coal Company were present during the site inspection,but the operator was <br /> contacted during the inspection. Weather conditions were sunny and warm; ground conditions were mostly dry. <br /> AVAILABILITY OF RECORDS—Rule 5.02.4(1): <br /> The majority of the required records were inspected at the mine office on June 6, 2011; hydrology related <br /> records were reviewed with Dennis Jones at the mine office on June 8,2011. All required records were available <br /> on file. The operator needs to file the insurance certificate to be consistent with the one on file at the DRMS <br /> office. <br /> FISH and WILDLIFE—Rule 4.18: <br /> Two deer were crossing the north pit,and a Bald Eagle was perched on a fence post along Haul Road A. <br /> HYDROLOGIC BALANCE -Rule 4.05❑[I Drainage Control 4.05.1,4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, <br /> 4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7, 4.05.10; Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water <br /> Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Drainage—Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; <br /> Impoundments 4.05.6,4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br /> Pond 012A was discharging clear water into Pond 012, which was also discharging clear water;the <br /> embankments of both pond were stable and vegetated. <br /> A trickle of water was observed at the Pond 013 outfall; no discharge was occurring at Pond 014. The trash rack <br /> on Pond 014 was tilted; the operator should verify that no damage has occurred to the spillway. <br /> Pond 010 was discharging clear water. <br /> Pond 11A was discharging into the YPM-12 drainage into Pond 011.
