7) The weed control plan was implemented as required. <br />8) Calais Resources requested Union Milling Company to reactivate the mill and in <br />accordance with that request, the following items have been initiated: <br />a. Air Quality APEN permit application package was finalized and submitted to <br />CDPHE in February 2011. <br />b. A traffic study was conducted and a CDOT access permit application package <br />was finalized and submitted in May 2011. <br />c. Parkville Water District water use agreement was obtained in April 2011. <br />d. TR-3 Milling Plan was submitted in June 2011, addressing the mill configuration, <br />tailings facility reconstruction, and addressing four of five stipulations to the <br />active mine permit. <br />i. Water rights <br />ii. Air permit <br />iii. Water monitoring <br />iv. Tailing pond compaction <br />e. Lake County Conditional Use Permit (CUP) application package was finalized <br />and submitted in June 2011. A county board meeting is set for the end of July. <br />f. Ordering mill replacement equipment and new equipment. <br />9) Line of credit working capital financing is being secured for start-up operations. <br />Anticipated June 18, 2011 to June 18, 2012 Activities <br />No new disturbances within previously undisturbed areas or permanent reclamation activities are <br />anticipated within the next 12 months at the Hopemore Shaft. Therefore no new map is required <br />for the Hopemore Shaft. New disturbances are planned for the Leadville Mill and Exhibit TSF- <br />01 is submitted showing the proposed disturbance outline. The mine disturbed area remains at <br />1.9 acres. The mill disturbed area will increase from 6.6 acres to 8.1 acres. Total bond on the <br />properties remains at $81,700 as determined by the Division in November 2007. <br />Calais and Mr. Calder continue working on a new 110(2) permit application for the Hopemore <br />Shaft. It was anticipated that the application would have been submitted in the previous year, <br />however work continues on this application with submittal anticipated during this year. <br />The Hopemore Shaft will continue operation as a Tourist Mine this summer. The Hopemore <br />Shaft activities anticipated for the upcoming year are reported below: <br />1) Conduct surface and underground tours. <br />2) Rehabilitation of the underground levels continued for tourist access. <br />3) Construction of board walks, parking and view deck continued. <br />4) New 110(2) permit application filing for the Hopemore Shaft. <br />5) Continued extensive care and maintenance. <br />6) No additional land will be disturbed, no additional land will be permanently reclaimed. <br />The mine disturbed area remains at 1.9 acres. <br />Calais continues to have an exclusive use lease of the Leadville Mill facilities and site for the <br />processing of Cross Mine ore.
