I
Response to CN-01 Third Adequacy Issues - June 6, 2011
• The access roads identified have been removed from Figure F-4 and Figure F-4A.
See Attachment C;
• Figure 4 and 4A have been combined See Attachment C,
• The area referenced on Figure F-4A is pre-existing or undisturbed Th_e
Reclamation Plan only provides that "disturbed" areas will be reduced to 1 5H 1V
Figure F-4A is, therefore, consistent with the Reclamation Plan,
• The shed and outhouse shown on Figure F-5 are pre-existing and will not be
reclaimed; Wildcat Mining does not propose to use this shed or outhouse in its
mining activities;
• Figure F-5a has been revised to show the final configuration of the entire Chief
Portal area. See Attachment C• and
• The highwall referenced in Figure F-5 is pre-existing or undisturbed The
Reclamation Plan only provides that "disturbed" areas will be reduced to 1.511:1v.
Figure F-5 is, therefore, consistent with the Reclamation Plan
Adequacy Issue #11
The amended application includes approximately 32 maps, yet many of the existing and
proposed mine features are not shown correctly. Figure D-1 attempts to provide some details for
the mine plan at the May Day 1 level but incorrectly labels the mill facility as "Storage",
incorrectly locates the two water tanks, and shows contour lines on top of the structures. Please
revise Figure D-1 to correct these inadequacies. Please provide similar scale maps to support the
mine plan for each of the areas of affected lands. Please correctly locate the major mine features,
including but not limited to all underground mine openings, mine benches, material stockpile
areas, the proposed mill facility, and any structures utilized to support the mining and milling
operation. Please submit detailed and correct maps, which are compliant with the basic map
requirements of Rule 6.2.1(2), and clearly delineate and label the existing and proposed mine
features.
Response #11
Wildcat Mining is submitting revised maps which comply with Rule 6.2.1(2.) and which
clearly delineate and label the existing and proposed mine features, including those
identified by DRMS in this adequacy issue See Attachment C
Adequacy Issue #12
The Division had previously requested a surface map which identifies the glory hole, associated
with the May Day 1 workings, and other pre-permit mine features associated with the historic
May Day and Idaho mines. The Applicant's response affirmed the glory hole, and other pre-
permit mine features, were located on several of the submitted maps. The glory hole is not
identified on any map. Please submit a surface map which delineates and labels the glory hole,
associated with the May Day 1 workings, and other pre-permit mine features associated with the
Revised
6/6/2011
11
mow.. ??_
