The following comments are posed to ensure <br />adequate engineering analyses and design practices are implemented in accordance with Rule <br />6.4.21 (Designated Mining Operation Environmental Protection Plan). <br />General Comments: <br />A. DRMS received an undated five-page letter on April 18, 2011 from J. Erich Rauber (R2 <br />Inc.) to Wallace Erickson (DRMS) regarding "Response to CN-01 Preliminary Adequacy <br />Issues for a 112d-1 Application, CN-01, Wildcat Mining Corporation, May Day Idaho <br />Mine Complex, File No. M-1981-185. Geotechnical Response La Plata County, <br />Colorado". On page 2 of this letter, under the section titled "May Day No. 1 Portal and <br />Mill entry collapse and head scarp" it is stated "The proposed construction work plan is <br />summarized in attachment A." Attachment A is titled "Proof of Publication" and does <br />not include a work plan. Please provide the requested work plan. <br />B. In the same letter discussed above in General Comment A, on page 2 under the section <br />titled "May Day No. 1 steel set stability analysis" it is stated "The May Day portal steel <br />set geotechnical stability analysis is presented in attachment B." Attachment B is titled <br />"Proof of Notice to Owners of Record" and does not include any geotechnical stability <br />analysis. Please provide the requested stability analysis. <br />C. DRMS received a separate 34-page letter dated April 18, 2011 from George Robinson <br />(R2 Inc.) to Wallace Erickson (DRMS) regarding "Response to CN-01 Preliminary and <br />Second Preliminary Adequacy Issues for a 112d-1 Application, CN-01, Wildcat Mining <br />Corporation, May Day Idaho Mine Complex, File No. M-1981-185. Geotechnical <br />Response La Plata County, Colorado". On page 11, Response #17 states "The revised <br />portal collapse repair work plan has been incorporated in Attachment E-4 - Exhibit 6.5 <br />and addresses Mr. Tim Cazier's adequacy issues". Attachment E-4 is titled "Exhibit 6.5 - <br />MEMORANDUM John W.
