MANAGEMENT <br />On behalf of Bowie Resources LLC (BRL), enclosed is an application for a minor <br />revision to provide for the drilling of three exploration holes. The exploration holes are <br />necessary to determine the extent of recoverable reserves to the west of Bowie No. 2 <br />Mine's active workings. The project involves utilizing approximately 1.5 miles of an <br />existing light use road, constructing 0.46 miles of new road and the construction of <br />three drill pads. Reclamation will consist of sealing the holes, restoring the new light <br />use roads and drill pads to approximate original contour and seeding. <br />Right of Entry <br />The exploration holes are located on surface owned by Derby Mountain LLP. Enclosed <br />is a Surface Use and Access Agreement that grants Bowie the right to enter Derby <br />Mountain LLP's land. <br />Affected and Disturbed Area <br />The drill pads will disturb approximately 3.0 acres. The light use roads will disturb <br />approximately 1.35 acres for a total of 4.35 acres. <br />Cultural Resources <br />See Volume 9B for all of the studies performed for the Bowie No. 1 Mine. Bowie is <br />having the areas surveyed again. The updated report will be sent to the DRMS as soon <br />as it is received. <br />Access <br />Access to the drill sites will be from Stevens Gulch Road. <br />Light Use Roads <br />Three new light use roads will be constructed. They will be reclaimed.
