6 (FORM 2 - Public filing) <br />8. Describe the estimated topsoil depth and how topsoil will be salvaged, stockpiled and redistributed for the re-establishment of <br />vegetation. Specify approximate topsoil redistribution depth: <br />Topsoil in the project area is estimated to range from zero to locally 12 inches. Where <br />present, topsoil will be salvaged and stockpiled adjacent to drill roads and drill pads. All drill holes <br />will be completely filled with abandonite, and or, bentonite, cement grout or concrete to <br />prevent any vertical movement of groundwater within the drill hole, as well as to elirniriate a <br />, <br />and or, bentonite, grout, concrete will be placed "bottom up" in each drill hole A 10 to 20 foot <br />cement plug will cap each drill hole. The plug will ensure that any settlement of the <br />a an onite, entonite, grout or concrete in the hole will not aff-e-c-t-the long-term effectiveness <br />and integrity of the plugging piocedure.
