Compliance With Mine Plan NA - Support Facilities Not On-site <br />NA -Other NA - Special Categories Of Mining <br />R - Processing Waste R -Topsoil <br />AIR RESOURCE PROTECTION - Rule 4.17: <br />There was only a small volume of coal that was stockpiled on the D-seam portal bench and at the coal <br />stockpile bench next to the highway. No problems with fugitive dust were seen. No coal fines had been tracked <br />onto the main highway. In addition, there were no railcars at the unit train loadout. No fugitive dust problems were <br />seen at the loadout either. There were no dust problems at any of the disturbed areas, due to the vegetative cover. <br />AVAILABILITY OF RECORDS - Rule 5.02.4(1): <br />All of the required mine records were at the mine office, as documented on the attached records checklist. <br />EXPLOSIVES - Rule 4.08 ? ? Distance Prohibitions 4.08.4; Warnings 4.08.4; Control of Adverse Effects 4.08.4: <br />There were no problems with the cap and powder houses that are located along the light use road leading <br />from the D-seam portal bench to the upper east side material storage area. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE - Rule 4.05 ? ? There was a little water in pond B, pond D and <br />pond F. Ponds J and K were dry while there was a moderate volume of standing water in pond C. All of the <br />discharge structures were operational. Floats were attached to the primary discharge hoses of ponds B, C and F. <br />Primary discharge pumps were in place on ponds F and J. There were no blockages of any of the emergency <br />spillways and pond embankments were stable. <br />Culverts and ditches around the site were functional. Road culverts and ditches had sufficient capacity. Straw bales <br />were in place for secondary sediment control.
