1. Performed quality control testing on slurry and backfill. Observed backfill and excavation operations. Other tests
performed yielded results in general accordance with project specifications. Test results were reported to Al of
Compass. Prepared Daily Field Report and updated slurry wall data spreadsheet.
2. Backfill operation progressed slowly due to mechanical difficulties of the bulldozer. A replacement dozer is scheduled
for delivery on the next day of work. Approximately 70 feet of trench (Station 55+90 to 56+30) had no backfill material
placed at the days end.
