GS recorded water level below ground surface at STAB 60+00, 70+00, and 39+50. All three were excavated between 8 ft <br />and 10 ft deep through clayey overburden down to sandy/gravel stratum. <br />Ground water results as recorded from ground surface: <br />39+50: - 8 ft <br />60+00: - 6.5 ft <br />70+00: -9 ft <br />2. Performed quality control testing on slurry and backfill. Observed backfill and excavation operations. As-Mixed slurry <br />viscosity test yielded a failing test result of 36 seconds. GS informed Compass of failing test. Corrective action was <br />taken. Retest yielded a viscosity of 41 seconds and a weight of 65 pcf. Other tests performed yielded results in general <br />accordance with project specifications. Test results were reported to AI of Compass. <br />3.
