This TR pertains to temporary pipeline creek diversion at the
Schwartzwalder Mine site. The plan is to isolate and convey Ralston Creek in a pipeline from a
location above disturbed areas at the mine site to a location below disturbed areas. The objective
is to protect water quality in Ralston Creek and simultaneously dry out the alluvial fill area in
order to allow potential sources to be further investigated and long-term mitigation measures to
be developed and implemented. Please also find enclosed a check in the amount of $1,006 to
cover the Technical Revision fee.
If you have any questions, please contact me at 719-275-7413 (Ext. 202).
Sincerely,
John Hamrick
VP, Mill Operations
cc: Mike Harris, WQCD
Enclosure
RINGEIV D
MAY 10 2 U i
Pivigion of Reclamatioh,
Mining & Safety
Cotter Corporation Telephone 1719) 275-7413
Canon City Mill, P.O.
