Figure 3. UDR1200 drilling rig; a large truck-mounted drilling rig as
an example of the type of machine proposed for RM Potash "proof of
concept" drill holes. This rig is capable of mud drilling to at least
5500 ft, and coring to 7000 ft. The gray equipment behind the rig is a
"shale shaker" set up to remove cuttings for minimum water and mud
consumption, and effective mud recirculation. Drilling and mud
circulation equipment occupies an area of about 50 x 50 feet.
