8 <br />based mud. Diesel-based mud will be mixed and stored in separate tanks, and completely <br />contained during the drilling process. Diesel contaminated cuttings will be contained and <br />hauled off-site for proper disposal. <br />Section 12F. New Roads <br />The length of new road construction is the maximum amount that would be necessary to <br />access all 6 potential drill sites. Only one to three of these drill sites will be used so the <br />amount of disturbance may be smaller if all the selected sites for Phase I are selected <br />from proposed locations along existing roads. <br />Section 12G. Total Project Area to be Disturbed. <br />The total disturbance is the maximum amount that would be necessary to access all 6 <br />potential drill sites. Only one to three of these drill sites will be used in Phase I so the <br />amount of disturbance will be smaller. If 6 drill-sites and the maximum footage of new <br />roads are calculated as disturbance, about 2 acres is expected to be disturbed. <br />
