3
Attachments to Section 121. Location Map
See attached RM Potash, Colorado Potash project, Exploration Plan Map 1
General map showing the locations of RM Potash's potash prospecting permit
applications; base map is enlarged from BLM 1:100,000 scale Topographic Map,
Minerals Management Status, Surface Management Status for Nucla and Dove Creek.
II. Maps and Drawings
USGS 7.5 minute quadrangles (Egnar, Colorado; Joe Davis Hill, Colorado; and Dove
Creek, Colorado) are attached showing 6 proposed Proof-of-Concept drill sites labeled
RMP-1 through RMP-6. RM Potash, Colorado Potash project, Exploration Plan Map 2 is
attached showing the general location of these proposed drill-sites in relation to the
project prospecting permit applications.
These six possible drill-sites are being proposed for NEPA clearance; from these sites
one to three sites will be selected for drilling in Phase 1. The final selection of sites to be
drilled will depend partly on NEPA environmental considerations and prospective
geological data. Each drilling site constructed will be approximately 100 feet x 100 feet
in size. General drill site plans are included in a following section. Specific comments
on each site follow:
1. Site RMP-1 is located closely adjacent to Highway 141 (SW1/4NW1/4 sec 14 T43N
R19W, NAD27 zone 12 UTM 681094E 4206645N, Egnar 7.5 minute quad., San Miguel
County, Colorado) about 1500 feet south of an old petroleum well drilled in 1955
(Reynolds Mining #1 Egnar, API#05-113-05004). This old bore hole intersected about
6.7 meters (22 feet) of about 27% potash. The RMP drill site is located on prospecting
permit COC73567 and was positioned at station point 756 on reprocessed seismic line
PB 1 to intersect a region of flat dipping stratigraphy. This site access is located adjacent
to an existing road just west of Highway 141.
2. Site RMP-2 is located in NW1/4SW1/4 sec 24 T43N R19W, NAD27 zone 12 UTM
682876E 4204770N, Egnar 7.5 minute quad., San Miguel County, Colorado near existing
dirt roads extending from County Road K8. The drill site is located on prospecting
permit COC73569 and was positioned based on a detailed seismic interpretation to
intersect a region of flat dipping stratigraphy. The drill site is accessible by about 1.5
miles of existing dirt roads extending from County roads; minor improvements to these
existing dirt roads may be necessary. The proposed drill hole will be located adjacent to
the existing road and will not block existing access.
3. Site RMP-3 is located about, IWO feet north of County Road L along an existing
unimproved dirt road (SW1/4 spF ?9 T43N R18W, NAD27 zone 12 UTM 686363E
4202812N, Egnar 7.5 minute quay., San Miguel County, Colorado). The drill site is
located on prospecting permit CPC-73572 and was positioned at station point 788 on
