File: survey <br />FIELD NAMES <br />ID DESCRIPTION <br />This a unique number assigned to each survey. The first two <br /> letters are the county code abbreviation, the next two letters <br /> are the lead agency abbreviation. This is followed by either <br /> an R# or an NR#. R means that there were results, NR no <br /> results. The number is just the next sequential number for <br /> that county and lead agency. EX: DL.LM.R10 is a positive <br /> survey in Dolores county where the BLM was the lead <br /> agency. <br />NAME The name of the survey. <br />PROCEDURE How the survey was done, ie block, linear etc. <br />COUNTY The county(s) in which the survey was located. <br />LEAD.AGENCY The lead agency of the undertaking. <br />INSTITUTION The name of the contractor that performed the survey. <br />AUTHOR <br />DOC Whomever wrote the report. <br />. <br />NAME <br />DOC The name of the document associated with this survey. <br />. More times than not this will be the same as the name of the <br /> <br />METHOD survey. <br />The type of survey performed,ie Class I, Class II, Class III <br />COMPLETION.DATE The last day of fieldwork for the survey <br />ACRES.TOTAL Number of acres surveyed. <br />SITE.0OUNT Number of sites recorded. <br />OOUNT <br />IF Number of isolated finds recorded. <br />. <br />MAPS The name of the map(s) on which the survey is located. <br />PMTRSQ Prime meridian, Township, Range Section and quarter <br /> sections in which the survey was located. <br />*ZONE.EAST The easting coordinate of the UTM in a ##;###### format <br /> where the ##; represents the zone. <br />*NORTH The northing coordinate of the UTM in a format. <br />*If the survey took place on unsectioned land, there will be utms. A center point is given if the area <br />surveyed was less than 10 acres. If it is greater than 10 acres the area will be enclosed in a polygon of <br />UTMS.
