This may include but is not limited to
booms, absorbent materials, tools (rake, shovel). Kits will be located on each drill rig and
one at bulk fuel storage tank.
Use of the site digging machine (back hoe) to create a berm, diversionary ditch, etc. may be
necessary.
If deemed necessary, a service contractor will be mobilized to prepare further containment,
clean-up, etc., as appropriate, depending on size and location of spill.
• Assess the spill.
Estimate extent of spill and other information necessary for notification.
Section 4 - Spill Notification and Reporting Procedure provides guidance.
• Notify the Supervisor.
Describe the spill and any actions taken that may affect Facility operations. Internal and
External notifications will be made by designated personnel.
• Clean-up the spill, as necessary.
Action taken by Shell personnel to contact East RDD Project's earth moving contractor.
• Revise process/procedures to reduce recurrence.
Remember, N? ithout exeeptton;,PER L'tS.a` [ T.l 1S.FIRST, ,PRIURITti : ? rce'?sn e . w
' oduct tihc?uld_he,a?oidecl 1 y K ,
c-p?,s.ut.e to--the NaPo? and l?yu,?cls t4?ec o th?a5t? l cd
Ly,
Printed: April 7, 2011 Section 7 Page 30 of 71
The controlled version of this "controlling document" resides online in Livelink®.
