Reciarnati`n, <br />-W wn;,ng and Sate] <br />Re: Permit No. M-1980-244• Crinnle Creek & Victor Gold Mining Company ("CC&V" )• <br />C'rP..-,-,nn Proipot- - Uaerniiavf f'nr To .h«, 1 n _.. ._ iecmn -All\ -1 <br />Dear Mr. Keffelew: <br />CC&V proposes the following minor changes as part of this request for Technical Revision (TR- <br />60) to the Amendment No. 9 to Permit M-1980-244: Phase I Auxiliary Pump Installation on the <br />VLF. <br />The primary purpose of these modifications is to increase the capability and flexibility of process <br />solution flows within Phase 1 PSSA of the VLF. <br />The elements of TR 60 include: <br />• Installation of an auxiliary pump, to be numbered #299, and caisson within Phase I of the <br />VLF. <br />The Pregnant Solution Storage Area ("PSSA") within Phase I of the VLF currently contains four <br />submersible pumps designed to convey pregnant solution to the Adsorption, Desorption, and <br />Recovery ("ADR") Facility. In the interest of increasing operational response in an emergency <br />condition-specifically an inoperable pump situation-installation of an additional auxiliary pump <br />will ensure suitable pumping capacity. <br />1 <br />This effort will be identical to the similarly described activities that were requested in TR 58 <br />submitted on March 18, 2010, and subsequently approved and constructed. CC&V proposes to <br />
