The purpose of the inspection was to evaluate the on-the-ground <br /> condition with respect to Trapper Mine's mining and environmental protection activities. Graham Roberts of TMI <br /> accompanied the inspection in the field. <br /> The weather was at times snowing and at times partly cloudy. The ground was partially covered with snow at <br /> higher elevations. <br /> AIR RESOURCE PROTECTION—Rule 4.17: <br /> Roads and other activities were not a significant source of fugitive dust during the inspection. <br /> AVAILABILITY OF RECORDS—Rule 5.02.4(1): <br /> The records were found to be in compliance. See checklist in report. <br /> EXCESS SPOIL and DEVELOPMENT WASTE—Rule 4.09: <br /> The K Ridge and Horse Gulch Fill were found to be in compliance with the permit. Some rills were observed on <br /> the Horse Gulch Fill; these should be monitored in the future. <br /> HYDROLOGIC BALANCE -Rule 4.05: <br /> During the inspection, Graham Roberts monitored water quality at eight CDPS sites where flow existed. His <br /> monitoring techniques were found to be in compliance with procedures in the permit and with DRMS regulations. <br /> Ponds associated with the eight CDPS monitoring sites were inspected:No Name#5R,Johnson#1 OR,West Pyeatt <br /> #2,East Pyeatt#3,Oak#2,Middle Flume#3,East Middle Flume, and Horse. <br /> Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 8 <br /> Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 4 <br /> Page 2 of 10 <br />
