Response to Geochemistry Review - May Day Conversion CN-1
File No. M-1981-185
Adequacy Issue #20
A. Attachment T-7, Mine Rock Geochemical Analysis. Please comment on the
representativeness of the rock subjected to SPLP testing, i.e., the location(s) from within
the mine the rock was collected.
B. The ANP: AGP ratio is only 1.14 to 1, and represents only one sample. Considering that
this ratio does not provide an overwhelming proportion of acid-neutralizing material, in
conjunction with the fact that date from only one sample have been provided, the
Division requires more comprehensive static testing of material that could ultimately be
disturbed, exposed, and/or stockpiled. This will begin the establishment of a data set and
screening parameters for possible future kinetic testing. Please provide a plan for more
comprehensive sampling and static testing, to be implemented subsequent to the issuance
of CN-01.
Response #20
The mine rock geochemical sampling plan and protocols are presented in Attachment T-7.
The sample was obtained from of mine rock from the May Day No. 1 stope. The SPLP test
was conducted on May Day No 1 ore that is currently stockpiled on the bench. Additional
SPLP and static tests will be conducted on representative materials are collected in the
future Currently tests are slated to be performed every 5000 tons of run of mine rock until
representative whole rock chemistry is quantified and approval from DRMS to terminate
the sampling program.
If there are any questions or comments regarding the submitted materials please contact:
Mr. George Robinson-Agent
Wildcat Mining Corporation
5555 DTC Parkway, Suite 4000-A
Greenwood Village, CO 80111
George M.L.
