• Continued improvements in the drainage, stabilization, and reclamation in <br />the constructed wetlands area (site of the former Radium Treatment Plant); <br />• Erosion repairs on the northwest side of the Indian Creek rock dump near <br />the clay stockpile and low grade stockpile; <br />• Grading in the North Pit to facilitate drainage from the 10800 level to the <br />10600 level in the east wall; <br />• Grading work in the slump area of the South Pit to eliminate pooling of water; <br />• Reclamation repair work on the Tie Camp Creek Disposal Cell including <br />grading, harrowing, scarifying and seeding to facilitate erosion control and <br />drainage management on the top of, and around, the disposal cell; <br />• Geotechnical monitoring of pit wall slopes on the south and east walls of the <br />North Pit, the east wall of the South Pit and the Indian Creek and Tie Camp <br />Creek waste rock dumps; <br />• Monitoring of Tension cracks above the east wall of the North Pit; <br />• Monitoring of the groundwater levels in piezometers within the area of <br />Pinnacle workings and monitoring of springs and seeps potentially influenced <br />by the resaturation of the historical underground workings; <br />• Monitoring of piezometers in both the Indian Creek and Tie Camp Creek <br />waste rock dumps; and <br />• Weed control and removal of small pine trees that encroached on the <br />downstream face of the sediment control embankment and monitoring of <br />monuments and piezometers per the requirements of the Colorado Division <br />of Water Resources. <br />This information is provided for introductory purposes; details of 2010 monitoring, <br />closure and reclamation activities are presented in the following sections. <br />Pitch Reclamation Project <br />Colorado Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board <br />2010 Annual <br />Reclamation Report <br />2
